(i) c.p of towel = ₹50
8.5% of 50
=8.5/100×50
= 4.25
then, s.p of towel= 50+4.25
=₹54.25
(2) c.p of 1 soap bar = 35
8.5%of35
=8.5/100×35
=2.975
s.p of 1 soap bar=35+2.975
=₹37.975
s.p of 2 soap bar = 37.975 ×2
= ₹ 75.95
