\rm{\int \:3x^2dx}

  • Take the Constant Out \sf{\int a\cdot f\left(x\right)dx=a\cdot \int f\left(x\right)dx}

\rm{=3\cdot \int \:x^2dx}

  • Apply the Power Rule : \sf{\displaystyle\int x^adx=\frac{x^{a+1}}{a+1},\:\quad \:a\ne -1}

\rm{\displaystyle=3\cdot \frac{x^{2+1}}{2+1}}

\rm{=3\cdot \dfrac{x^3}{3}}

\rm{=x^3}

  • Add a Constant to Solution

\rm{=x^3+C}
