Answer:

let the 3 consecutive natural numbers be x, x+1 , x+2

By the problem

x + (x+1) = 18 + (x+2)

2x + 1 = x + 20

2x - x = 20 - 1

x = 19

the 3 consecutive natural numbers are= 19, 20 and 21

Answer:

Let the numbers be x-1, x and x+1

Then (x-1) + x = (x+1) + 18

After simplification

x - 1 + x = x + 1 + 18

2x-1 -x -1 = 18

x -2 = 18

x= 20

numbers are 19, 20, 21
