3x=81-3

3x=78

then 2nd number = x+1

also 3rd number = x+2

sum of these three numbers =  x + x+1 + x+2

                          x + x+1 + x+2 = 81

                                     3x + 3 = 81

                                           3x = 81 - 3

                                          3x = 78

                                            x = 78 ÷ 3

                                            x = 26

                                       x +1 = 26 + 1

                                              = 27

                                     x + 2 = 26 + 2

                                              = 28
