Let the first odd number be x

Second number = x + 2

Third odd number = x + 4

According to question

( x + 4 ) + 49 = x + ( x + 2 )

x + 53 = 2x + 2

53 – 2 = 2x – x

51 = x

Ans : First odd number = x = 51

Second odd number = x + 2 = 53

Thrid odd number = x + 4 = 55

Hope the solution is clear to you!!

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the required three consecutive odd numbers be a, a+2,a+4.

according to the problem

(a+4)+49 =a+a+2

=>a+53=2a+2

=>2a-a=53-2

=>a=51

a+2=51+2=53

=>a+4=51+4=55

the required three consecutive odd numbers are 51,53,55

check:

55+49=104

53+51=104
