let three positive consecutive even numbers are 2A,(2A+2) and (2A+4),
then according to the question , we have
2A+2A+2+2A+4=90,
6A+6=90,
6(A+1)=90,
then
A+1=15,
A=15-1,
A=14,
therefore
1st even number=2×14=28,
2nd even number=28+2=30,
3rd even number=30+2=32
then according to the question , we have
2A+2A+2+2A+4=90,
6A+6=90,
6(A+1)=90,
then
A+1=15,
A=15-1,
A=14,
therefore
1st even number=2×14=28,
2nd even number=28+2=30,

x+x+2+x+4 = 90
3x + 6 = 90
3x = 90 - 6
3x = 84
x= 84/3
x= 28
