Let x,y,z be required terms of an A.P .
As x,y,z are in A.P so x+z=2y
x+y+z=24
x+z=24-y
2y=24-y
y=8
also,xyz=440
xz=55
put x=24-y-z=16-z
16z-z^2=55
solving these we will get
x=11,y=8,z=5
