Let the three consecutive integers be x, x+1 and x+2. According to the question,

x(x+1)(x+2) = 16 (x+(x+1)+(x+2))

x(x+1)(x+2) = 16 (3x+3)

x(x+1)(x+2) = 16 x 3 (x+1)

x2 + 2x - 48 = 0

x2 + 8x - 6x - 48 = 0

x (x+8) -6 (x+8) = 0

(x-6) (x+8) = 0

x =6 or x= -8

So the numbers are 6, 7,8 or -8,-7,-6
