a = 2/3 & b = 3/4

then, (a + b)/2

(2/3 + 3/4)/2

= (8 + 9/12)/2

= (17/12)/2

= 17/12 × 2

= 17/6

hence, first rational no. is 17/6

like this we can find the second rational no between 17/6 and 3/4.

which is 43/6 = 2nd rational no.
