The three rational no. are

a=-2/3 and b=1/3

The successor of 3 i. e 4

Mulitiply a and b with 4/4

a=-2/3 x 4/4 = -8/12

b=1/3 x 4/4 =4/12

So, the three no.s are - 7/12, - 6/12,-5/12
