first rational number is equal to
7+7/2=13/2=6.5

second rational number is 6+6.5/2=12.5/2=6.25

and the third rational number is
6.5 +7/2=13.5/2=6.75

show three rational numbers lying between 6 and 7 are 6.25 , 6.5 and 6.75

Concept

Any number that can be written as a fraction or ratio of two integers is referred to as a rational number.

Given

The numbers 6 and 7.

To find

We have to find the rational number between them.

Solution

For the first rational number between 6 and 7 it's a mid number between 6 and 7.

then,

\frac{6+7}{2} = \frac{13}{2}

For the second rational number between 6 and 7 it's a mid number between 6 and 6.5.

then,

\frac{6+6.5}{2} =\frac{12.5}{2}

For the second rational number between 6 and 7 it's a mid number between 7 and 6.5.

then,

\frac{7+6.5}{2}=\frac{13.5}{2}

Hence three rational number between 6 and 7 is 13/2, 12.5/2 and13.5/2.
