d = (y - x) / (n + 1)

d = (1/4 -(-2/3) / (3 + 1)

therefore, d = 11/48

now,

(x + d), (x + 2d), (x + 3d) are the rational number lies between -2/3 and 1/4

= (-2/3 + 11/48), (-2/3 + 22/48), (-2/3 + 33/48)

= -21/48 , -10/48, 1/48

= - 21/48 , -5/24 , 1/48 are the rational number found between -2/3 and 1/4.
