Hey dear,

Let us take 5/1 and 6/1,

We need to find three rational numbers between them. so both the numerator and denominator should be multiplied by 4 as the LCM is 4.

so, you will get          20/4 and 24/4,

Three rational numbers between them are 21/4 , 22/4 , 23/4

Hope this helps you

(5+5.5)/2= 5.25. - 2nd rational no.
(6+5.5)/2 =5.75. - 3rd rational no.
