Step-by-step explanation:

i) -1 and -2

To find three rational numbers multiple by 4/4

-1 × 4/4 = -4/4. -2 × 4/4 = -8/4

Three rational numbers between -1 and -2 are :- -5/4 , -6/4 , -7/4

(ii) 0.1 and 0.11

Similar as explained above

(iii) 5/7 and 6/7

Similar as explained above

(iv) 1/4 and 1/5

Since the denominators are different we have to take LCM first.

L.C.M if 4 and 5 is 20

1/4 × 5/5 = 5/20. 1/5 × 4/4 = 4/20

Now to find three rational number multiply by 4/4

5/20 × 4/4 = 20/80. 4/20 × 4/4 = 16/80

Three rational numbers between 1/4 and 1/5 are :-

19/80,18/80,17/80
