Question :- find three solutions for the equation 2x+3y=4 ?

Solution :-

→ 2x + 3y = 4

putting x = 0,

→ 2 * 0 + 3y = 4

→ 0 + 3y = 4

→ 3y = 4

→ y = (4/3)

therefore, first solution is (0, 4/3) .

→ 2x + 3y = 4

putting y = 0,

→ 2x + 3 * 0 = 4

→ 2x + 0 = 4

→ 2x = 4

→ x = 2

therefore, second solution is (2, 0) .

→ 2x + 3y = 4

putting x = 1,

→ 2 * 1 + 3y = 4

→ 2 + 3y = 4

→ 3y = 4 - 2

→ 3y = 2

→ y = (2/3)

therefore, third solution is (1, 2/3) .
