=> 4x - 5y = 15

three solutions are x = 0, y = - 3

x = 1, y = -11/5, x = 5, y = 1

put y = 0 to and solve for x which gives us the point where the graph cut x - axis

4x - 5×0 = 15

=> x = 15/4 => 3.75

therefore the graph cuts x axis at 3.75 units on the positive side of x axis
