this is a very easy question

actually time is already given . so i am finding rate of intesret

here is the solution.............

lets recall a formula for finding time,

r = (100 × s.i /p × t)

s.i = a - p

    = 8447.5 - 6540

     = rs. 1907.5

now

rate of interest = (100 ×1907.5/6540 × 12.5)

              rate of interest            = 2.33%
