a= 2

d= 4-2

= 2

n = 10

an = a + (n-1) d

= 2 + (10-1) (2)

= 2 + 18

= 20

t_{n} = 2n

Step-by-step explanation:

The given A.P. are:

2, 4, 6, 8, ........

Here, first term (a) =2, common difference (d) =4 - 2 =2

Let n be the t_{n} term of an A.P.

To find, t_{n}=

We know that,

The nth term of an A.P.

t_{n} = a + (n - 1)d

Put a = 2 and d = 2, we get

t_{n} = 2 + (n - 1)2

t_{n} = 2 + 2n - 2

t_{n} = 2n

t_{n} = 2n
