  \huge\mathfrak{solution}

Given:

• In the given figure , All the resistances are in series combination:

To find:

Total equivalent resistance=?

Answer:

Let

r1 = 6Ω

r2=2Ω

r3=5Ω

As we know that:

In series combination :

we find equivalent resistance by :

•R(eq)= r1 +r2 + r3...

=> R(eq)= (6+2+5)Ω

=> R(eq)= 13 Ω

Hence, The total effective/equivalent resistance is 13Ω.

\large{\red{\underline{\textsf{Given-}}}}

→ 3 resistors connected in series.

R1 = \sf 6 \Omega

R2 = \sf 2 \Omega

R3 = \sf 5 \Omega

→ Total effective resistances

♦ The total effective resistances , connected in series is given by -

R' = R1 + R2 + R3

R' = \sf 6 \Omega \sf 2 \Omega \sf 5 \Omega

R' = \sf 13 \Omega
