Your Answer:

Given:-

  • \tt Edge \ \ of \ \ Cube = 24cm

Solution:-

\tt First \ \ we \ \ have \ \ to \ \ find \ \ TSA (Total \ \ surface \ \ area) of \ \ cube \\\\ \tt So, \ TSA \ \ of \ \ Cube = 6a^2 \\\\ \tt Here\ \ ' a' \ \ is \ \ edge \ \ of \ \ the \ \ cube \\\\ \tt \Rightarrow TSA = 6(24)^2 \\\\ \tt \Rightarrow TSA = 6(576) \\\\ \tt \Rightarrow TSA = 3456cm^2 \\\\

\tt So, \ \ Total \ \ Surface \ \ Area \ \ of \ \ Cube\ \ is \ \ 3456cm^2

\tt We \ \ have \ \ to \ \ find \ \ LSA \ \ (Lateral \ \ Surface \ \ Area) \ \ of \ \ Cube \\\\ \tt So, \ \ LSA \ \ of \ \ Cube = 4a^2 \\\\ \tt Here, 'a' \ \ is \ \ edge \ \ of \ \ cube \\\\ \tt \Rightarrow LSA = 4(24)^2 \\\\ \tt \Rightarrow LSA = 4(576) \\\\ \tt \Rightarrow LSA = 2304cm^2 \\\\\tt So, Lateral \ \ or \ \ Curved \ \ surface \ \ of \ \ Cube \ \ is \ \ 2304cm^2

\tt Volume \ \ of \ \ Cube = a^3 \\\\ \tt \Rightarrow Volume = (24)^3 \\\\ \tt \Rightarrow Volume = 13824cm^3
