Let x and x+3 be the consecutive multiples of 3, it is given that the product of two consecutive multiples of 3 is equal to = 270

x(x + 3) = 270

x {}^{2} + 3x - 270 = 0

x {}^{2} + 18x - 15x - 270 = 0

x(x + 18) - 15(x + 18) = 0

(x - 15)(x + 18) = 0

Considering the positive values, x=15, then x+3=15+3=18

Hence, two consecutive multiples of 3 are 15 and 18
