so x+x+1=53

2x=52

x=26

so that two consecutive numbers are 26 & 27

The sum of two consecutive natural number is 53 .

so that ,

x + ( x + 1 ) = 53

2x + 1 = 53 .

2x = 53 - 1

2x = 52

x= 26.

Therefore ,the first natural number is 26 .

and second natural number x + 1 = 26 + 1 = 27.
