The the consecutive numbers be x and x+1
According to the question
x + (x+1) = 63
2x + 1 = 63
2x=62
x =62/2
x=31 Therefore the numbers are 31 and 32
Hope this helps

jainimje1802gmailcom: let 1st consecutive no be x and the other be x+1
vijaychaudhary77: it is really wrong
jainimje1802gmailcom: by given condition
jainimje1802gmailcom: x +(x+1)=63
jainimje1802gmailcom: 2x+1=63
jainimje1802gmailcom: 2x=63-1
jainimje1802gmailcom: x=62/2
jainimje1802gmailcom: x=31
jainimje1802gmailcom: therefore 1st no is 31
