Let the smaller odd integer be x, then the other consecutive integer is x + 2.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

  • According to given, x (x + 2) = 195

➻ x² + 2x - 195 = 0

➻ (x - 13) (x + 15) = 0

➻ x - 13 = 0 or x + 15 = 0

➻ x = 13 or x = -15.

Where,

  • x = 13, x + 2 = 15

When,

  • x = -15, x + 2 = -13

❥ Therefore,

  • Hence, the required integers are 13, 15 or -15, -13.
