Let the first number be x.So the second number is x+1
Then;
x+(x+1)=68
x+x+1=68
2x=68-1
x=67/2
=33.5
So the first number is 33.5 and the second number is 34.5.
Then;
x+(x+1)=68
x+x+1=68
2x=68-1
x=67/2
=33.5
So the first number is 33.5 and the second number is 34.5.
