$=\frac{1}{2} \times\left(\frac{15+8}{40}\right)$

$=\frac{7}{80}$

= $\mathrm{q}_{2}=\frac{1}{2}\left(\mathrm{a}+\mathrm{q}_{1}\right)\\=\frac{1}{2} \times\left(\frac{3}{8}+\left(\frac{7}{80}\right)\right)$

$=\frac{-92}{560}$

$\text { The two rational numbers are } \frac{7}{80} \text { and } \frac{92}{560}$
