Given:-

\mathrm{a}=\frac{3}{8}, \mathrm{~b}=\frac{-1}{5}\\\text { Let } \mathrm{q}_{1} \text { and } \mathrm{q}_{2} \text { be two rational numbers. }\\\mathrm{q}_{1}=\frac{1}{2}(\mathrm{a}+\mathrm{b})\\\mathrm{q}_{1}=\frac{1}{2} \times\left(\frac{3}{8}-\frac{1}{5}\right)

=\frac{1}{2} \times\left(\frac{15+8}{40}\right)

=\frac{7}{80}

= \mathrm{q}_{2}=\frac{1}{2}\left(\mathrm{a}+\mathrm{q}_{1}\right)\\=\frac{1}{2} \times\left(\frac{3}{8}+\left(\frac{7}{80}\right)\right)\\

=\frac{-92}{560}

\text { The two rational numbers are } \frac{7}{80} \text { and } \frac{92}{560}
