Now ,
other number exceeds first by 18 .
So ,
other number = ( x + 18 )
Now ,
Sum of these numbers = 92
=> x + x + 18 = 92
=> 2x = 74
=> x = 37
first number = 37
Second number = 37 + 18
= 55
