Answer:

Let one number be x,

Then other number is x+11

Now According to the question,

 =  > (x) + (x+11) = 73 \\  =  > 2x = 73 - 11 \\  =  > x =  \frac{62}{2}  = 31

So first number is 31 (x) and other number is 42 (x+11)

Answer:

Let the number be x.

First number = x

Second number = x + 11

Their sum = 73

=> x + x + 11 = 73

2x + 11 = 73

2x = 73 - 11

2x = 62

x = 62/2

x = 31

So,

First number = x = 31

Second number = x + 11 = 31 + 11 = 42

Check :

31 + 42 = 73 ✔️
