let the number be x.

second number be = ( x+9)

sum of given number = 81

ATQ:-

x + (x+9) = 81

2x + 9 =81

2x = 81-9

2x = 72

x = 72 /2

x= 36

First number x = 36

Answer:

36,45

Step-by-step explanation:

assume the numbers are x,x+9

x+x+9=81

2x+9=81

2x=81-9

2x=72

x=36

so the numbers are x,x+9
