let the number be x
other number = x+18
=> according to question ,

=> x+x+18 = 92
=> 2x = 92-18 => 74

=> x = 74/2 => 37

number = x = 37
other number = x+18 = 37+18 => 55

Let the number is x

The other number is x + 18

According to the given question -

x + x + 18 = 92

2x + 18 = 92

2x = 92 - 18

2x = 74

x = 74/2

x = 37 .

Hence :

The First Number = 37.

The Other Number = x + 18 = 37 + 18 = 55 .

Check :

37 + 55 = 92 .

Hence :

 \bold{First \: Number \: = \: 37}

 \bold{Second \: Number \: = \: 55}
