Find two numbers such that one of them exceeds the other by 18 and there sum is 92

heya mate here is your answer ....
let the first no. be x
and other be x+18
so,
x+x+18=92
2x + 18 =92
2x=92-18
2x=74
x=74÷2
x=37
and other no. is
x+18=37+ 18 =75
