Let us

Smaller no. is X

Larger no. is Y

Then

First condition is

3X-2Y = 1 (1)

Second condition is

8X - 5Y = 6 (2)

Now

Get multiply by 5 in first condition and by 2 in second condition then

15X - 10Y = 5 (1)

16X - 10Y = 12 (2)

Now we subtract (1) from (2)

16X -10Y = 12

-(15X - 10Y) =5

____________

1X-0Y =7

Then

X = 7

Now put value of X in equation (1)

3X-2Y = 1

3×7-2Y = 1

21 -2Y =1

2Y =20

Y=10

X =7

Y =10
