Let the first number be 9x

Let the second number be 6x

Now , .............

A.T.Q

9x+6x=100

X=100/15
X=20/3

Therefore ::

First number = 9x = 9*(20/3) = 60
Second number = 6x= 6(20/3) = 40

Verification ::

♦ sum of both the numbers should be 100!!
