Answer:

For solving this question we will assume that the first number is x and second number is y.

there will be two equations formed

x + y= 27

and

x × y = 182

now,

(x + y)

(x + y)  ^{2}  = 729

 {x}^{2}  +  {y }^{2}  + 2xy = 729

 {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  = 729 - 394

 {x}^{2}  +   {y}^{2}  = 365

Answer:

let the two numbers be x and y

given x+y=27 equation 1

x×y=182 equation 2

now solving equation 1

x+y=27

y=27-x

substitute the value of x in equation 2

x×(27 - x)=182

27x- x^2=182

182+x^2 -27x=0

solve the quadratic equation

x^2-14x-13x+182=0

x(x-14)-13(x-14)=0

(x-14)(x-13)=0

x-13=0 or x-14=0

x =13 or x=14

put value of x in any of the equation

equation 1

xy=182

13×y=182

y=182/13

y=14
