hi.......

here is your answer.

Let the two numbers be x &y

x+y=27 .... (I)

xy=182

(x+y) ²=x²+2xy+y²

27²=x²+y²+2×182

729=x²+y²+364

x²+y²=729-364

x²+y²=365

(x-y) ²=x²+y²-2xy

(x-y) ²=365-364

(x-y) ²=1

x-y=1 .... (II)

adding (I) &(II)

2x=28

x=14

y=13

hope it helps

SOLUTION___(・∀・)

Let the first no. be x

Second no. be 27-x

Now, x(27-x)=182

= 27x-x^2= 182

A/q__

=x^2-27x+182= 0

=x^2-(13x-14x)+182=0 {let use middle splits term}

=x(x-13)-14(x-13)=0

= (x-13) (x-14)=0

= x= 13 or x= 14 {required no.} ans.
