Let the Numbers be x and y respectively

Then According to the question!!
➡️x + y = 48 ( 1 )

➡️xy = 432 ( 2 )

From ( 2 ) y = 432 / x

➡️ Substitute the value in ( 1 )

 = > x + \frac{432}{x} = 48 \\ \\ \\ = > {x}^{2} + 432= 48x \\ \\ \\ = > {x}^{2} - 48x + 432 = 0 \\ \\ \\ = > {x}^{2} - 36x - 12x + 432 \\ \\ = > x(x - 36) - 12(x - 36)

Hence The value of x = 36 or 12

➡️ If x = 36✅

➡️ Then y = 48- 36 = 12✅

➡️ As if x = 12✅

➡️ Then y = 36✅
