Step-by-step explanation:

so, we have two rational numbers ....   3/11 and 5/9

step 1:-  first of all we have to try and equate the denominators to make the two fractions like. we get

27/99 and 55/99  ( multiply both numerator and denominator by 9 and 11)

step 2:- now add 27/99 and 55/99 and we get third number 82/99 .... which is first rational number between the two numbers.

step 3:- now add any two numbers and then you get the fourth number.... so i take 27/99 and 82/99 and add them togather...

we get 109/99.

so the two rational numbers are 82/99 and 109/99

by defination of rational numbers....

i) both are in the form of p/q

ii) in both cases q is not equal to '0'.

so they are rational numbers.
