Step-by-step explanation:

First equalise the denominator of the rational numbers

multiply both the denominator and numerator by 2 this gives. 2/4

now the two rational numbers are 2/4 and 3/4 the denominators are now same

the next step is multiply both the numbers ( both numerator and denominator) by any big no. like 10

now the fraction are 20/40 and 30/40

therefore the two rational no. between them are

21/40 ,22/40 etc.

Hope it helps

Answer:

to find we have three formulas 1. 1/2(a+b) 2. y-x/n+1

and 3.lcm method

in this we use LCM method

  • to this first find LCM of both 2,4. = 4
  • now do divide with denominator and multiply numerator as you do addition
  • now rite sperate both

and then how much no is given to find you should you add n+1 =2+ 1 = 3

  • after that multiply both side up and down you get two no
  • write all no between them they are your number's

just see

1/2 |......................| 3/4. (LCM method)

2/4 |.....................|. 3/2. ( multiply n +1 method)

6/12 |....................| 9/12

so the ans is,

7/12,and 8/12

hop it helps
