Step-by-step explanation:

take lcm of 3 and 4....

i.e.12

then your numbers will be -6/12 and 16/12...

multiply by 10/10

then it shall be -60/120 and 160/120

then choose any two numbers between them..

like -10/120,50/120 and many more..

Let's solve it by mean method

(a+b/2)

a= -2/4 and b= 4/3

-2/4+4/3 by 2

-6+16/12 by 2 (12 is the LCM of 4 and 3)

10/12 by 2

5/6 by 2

5/6 × 1/2 (when You remove divide sign it becomes multiplication's sign and reciprocal the number i.e, 2 you will get 1/2)

5/12 is a number between -2/4 and 4/2

Then to find the another number put a= 5/12 and b = 4/2

a +b/2

5/12 + 4/2 by 2

5+24/12 by 2. (12 is the lcm of 2 and 12)

29/12 by 2

29/12× 1/2

29/24 is the another number
