Solution :-

→ 7.3 = 73/10

→ 7.31 = 731/100

now, in order to make denominator same multiply each numerator and denominator of fraction (73/10) by 100 and (731/100) by 10 .

so,

→ (73*100/10*100) = (7300/1000)

→ (731*10/100*10) = (7310/1000)

then,

→ Rational numbers between (7300/1000) and (7310/1000) are = (7301/1000) , (7302/1000) , (7303/1000) , (7304/1000) , (7305/1000) , (7306/1000) , (7307/1000) , (7308/1000) and (7309/1000) .

therefore,,

→ Two rational numbers between 7.3 and 7.31 are = 7.301 and 7.302 .

Method 2) :-

we know that,

  • A rational number between a and b is = (a + b)/2 .

so,

→ A rational number between 7.3 and 7.31 = (7.3 + 7.31)/2 = 14.61/2 = 7.305

now,

→ A rational number between 7.305 and 7.31 = (7.305 + 7.31)/2 = 14.615/2 = 7.3075

therefore,

→ Two rational numbers between 7.3 and 7.31 are = 7.305 and 7.3075 .
