Answer:

x+2y=3

x-2y=4

______

2x=7

x=7/ 2. ans

now

again,

putting the value of x in equation ---1

x+2y=3

7/ 2+2y=3

7/ 2-6= -2y

0.5/-2=y

-1/4=y

by substituting method

x+2y=3

x=3-2y

now

substituting the value of x in equation ---2

x-2y=4

3-2y-2y=4

-4y=1

-1=4y

-1/4=y

now

putting the value of y in equation----1

x+2y=3

x+2*(-1/4)=3

x+(-2/4)=3

x+(-1/2)=3

x-1/2=3

x=3+1/2

x=7/2. ans
