If x = 0,

then 4(0)+ 3y = 12

0 + 3y = 12

3y = 12

y = 4

If y = 0

then 4x+ 3(0) = 12

4x = 12

x= 3

(0,4) & (3,0) are the solution of the given equation.

b) 2x + 5y = 10

If x = 0,

then 2(0)+ 5y = 10

0 + 5y = 10

5y = 10

y = 2

If y = 0

then 2x+ 5(0) = 10

2x = 10

x= 5

(0,2) & (5,0) are the solution of the given equation.
