Given that,

Two solutions for the equation 3x + 5y = 15 are

Let the value of x be " 2 " say

substituting the values in the equation we get,

⇒ 3(2)+5y = 15

⇒ 6+5y = 15

⇒ 5y = 15-6

⇒ 5y = 9

⇒ y = 9/5

∴ The one of the solution for this equation is (2,9/5).

Another solution,

Let the value of y be " 3 " say

Substituting the value of y in the equation we get,

⇒ 3x +5(3) = 15

⇒ 3x + 15 = 15

⇒ 3x = 15-15

⇒ x = 0/3  {0 divided by any number is always zero}

⇒ x = 0

∴ Another solution for this equation is (0,3).

Hope this helps you.
