Answer:

HIII

Step-by-step explanation:

2x - 3y = 14

let y = 2

2x - 3(2)= 14

  2x - 6 = 14

       2x = 14+6

       2x = 20

           x=20/2

            x=10

therefor one of the solution is (10,2)

let y = 0

2x - 3(0) = 14

   2x - 0 = 14

        2x = 14

          x = 14/2

           x=7

therefore other solution is (7,0)

REQUIRED SOLUTIONS ARE (10,2) & ( 7,0)

HOPE IT HELPS U !!!

\sf\huge\bold{Answer:}

Given :

Linear Equation 2x -3y = 14

To find :

Two solution of above equation

Solution :

\sf{2x-3y=14}

Let us consider values of x to get values of y.

\fbox{Case 1 [when x = 1 ]}

\sf{:⟶ 2x-3y=14}

\sf{:⟶ 2( 1 ) - 3y = 14}

\sf{:⟶ 2 - 3y = 14}

\sf{:⟶  - 3y = 14 - 2 }

\sf{:⟶ - 3y = 12}

\sf{:⟶ y = \frac{12}{-3}}\\

\sf\purple{:⟶ y = -4}

\fbox{Case 2 [when x = 7  ]}

\sf{:⟶ 2x-3y=14}

\sf{:⟶ 2(7) - 3y = 14}

\sf{:⟶ 14 - 3y = 14}

\sf{:⟶  - 3y = 14 - 14}

\sf{:⟶ - 3y = 0}

\sf{:⟶ y = \frac{0}{-3}}\\

\sf\purple{:⟶ y = 0}

\huge\mathcal{Solutions\:of\:2x-3y=14\:are:}

\sf\huge\purple{(1,-4) and (7,0)}

  • We can assure any variable x or y to get the value of another variable.
  • We can assure any value of x and with every different value you'll get different value of y as well as a different solution set.
  • A linear equation has infinite solutions because it forms a line and a line is infinitely long.
  • Every point on the line formed represent the solution pair of the linear equation.
