Answer:

(100) As there is two sides are equal then a

ngle opposite to the equal sides are equal. then angle b is equal to 40. now by using sum angle property of triangle angle a will be 100

According to given figure,

 \sf∠b = 40°       \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  { \tiny{ \text{[Angles opposite to equal sides are also equal]}}}

Now, Using angle sum property of triangle,

 \bf 40° + ∠a + ∠b = 180° \\ \sf \:  \: 40° +  ∠a + 40°  = 180° \\  \bf  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: ∠a  + 80°  = 180° \\  \sf \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: ∠a = 100°

Hence, Unknown angles (∠a & ∠b) are 100° & 80° respectively.
