QUESTION:

Find value of (3^0 +4^{-1}) 2^2.

ANSWER:

LAW USED:-

Using the given Law of Exponents, we can solve this Given Question -

a^0 = 1                     ∵ (3^0 = 1)

a^{-m} = \frac{1}{a^m}

SOLUTION:-

=>(1+4^{-1})2^2\\\\=> (1+\frac{1}{4} )2^2\\\\LCM\:of\:1\:and\:4\:is\:4\\\\=>(\frac{5}{4} )2^2 = (\frac{5}{4} )\frac{4}{1}\\\\=>\frac{20}{4} =5

CONCLUSION:

∴ The Value of (3^0 +4^{-1}) 2^2 is 5
