The value of cos600°

=> cos600° = (90 × 4 +60°)

Here 600° lies in the 3rd quadrant and also the multiple of 90° is even

=> cos 600° = cos(90 ×4+ 60°)

=> cos 600° = - cos60°

=> cos 600° = -(1/2)

so ,

cos 600° = -1/2
