Solution:

p(x) = 5x³-√5x²+8kx+√180

It is given that √5 is a root of

p(x).

Now ,

p(√5) = 0

=> 5(√5)³-√5(√5)²+8k(√5)+6√5=0

=> 25√5-5√5+8√5k+6√5=0

=> 26√5 + 8√5 k = 0

=> 8√5k = -26√5

=> k = (-26√5)/8√5

=> k = -13/4
