Solution:

Given , if 2x+1 is a factor of 2x^2-x+1/8.

f(x) = 2x + 1 =0

0r, 2x = -1

0r, x = -½

Substitute obtained value in Equation:

f(m) = 2x² - mx + ⅛ = 0

0r, 2(-1/2)² - (-1/2) + 1/8 = 0

0r, 2 × 1/4 + 1/2m + 1/8 = 0

0r, ½ + ⅛ + ½m = 0

0r, 4 + 1/8 + ½m = 0

0r, ⅝ + ½m = 0

0r, ½m = -⅝

0r, m = -⅝ / ½

0r, m = -5/2

Therefore, Value of m is -5/2 .
