# IN TRIANGLE ABD,

 {(ab)}^{2}  =  {(ad)}^{2}  + {(bd)}^{2}

 { (\frac{x}{2}) }^{2}  =  {(37)}^{2}   -  {12}^{2}

 \frac{x}{2}  =  \sqrt{1369 - 144}

x = 2 \sqrt{1225}

x = 2 \times 35

x = 70
